Sundowns winger Khama Billiat asked his teammates to strengthen their efforts against Zamalek in the second leg of the Champions League's final set to be played in Alexandria on Sunday, saying the game will not be easy for his side.
The South African side is on the verge of winning their first African Champions League trophy after hammering Zamalek 3-0 in the first leg in Pretoria on Saturday.
Zamalek will host Sundowns in the second leg in a do-or-die mission at Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Sunday.
“It won't be easy in Egypt. We need to double our efforts,” Billiat told Kickoff on Monday.
“Credit should go to the team, we worked hard and everyone was on top of their game. But there is still a lot of work to be done.”
The South African player of the year said his side should ease the anticipated pressure on Sunday's clash.
“They will try to come at us, we need just to go there and score,” Billiat said.
Zamalek are eyeing their first Champions League trophy since 2002, while Sundowns will be looking for their first-ever African title.
