Rossi may be reinforcing club New York
The robust player of Rome and the Italian selection, Daniele De Rossi is considering a move to New York City FC, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
But sources indicate that the New York Red Bulls are also in the race to secure the signing of Italian.
De Rossi has been associated with diveros clubs over the past two years, including Manchester City in the Premier League. However, the 31 year old has a condition. It will only come to Rome to win the Scudetto this season. The Giallorossi are just three points behind championship leader - Juventus.
De Rossi has a home in the United States and passes some of their vacation on the other side of the Atlantic. The move to the US would not be something out of the ordinary for the midfielder.
The New York City FC could benefit from a player like De Rossi. An excellent midfielder box-to-box that can break any attack and transitioning the game forward. He can also play as a defender, if necessary.
One of designated players NYCFC, Frank Lampard, will continue his loan with Manchester City, as Soccerazo already reported. However, De Rossi probably only would join the team of MLS in the summer, considering its related promise by winning the Scudetto.
Rossi won his 100th cap with Italy against Croatia on 16 November. Only five other players have achieved this mark. The midfielder played in almost 350 appearances for Roma.
