Jeggo open to Adelaide exit
The promising, energetic young midfielder has been linked with a move to the Austrian Bundesliga and could yet be lured away from Guillermo Amor's side
Jimmy Jeggo says he isn't actively seeking a move away from Adelaide United but will consider a tempting offer if one arrives.
The Reds blocked a request from Sturm Graz in Jeggo's native Austria to take the midfielder on trial in June.
The 23-year-old, who scored twice in Adelaide's 6-1 win over Darwin Olympic in the FFA Cup round of 32 on Wednesday, claimed he's keeping his options open as the 2015-16 A-League season approaches.
"I'm not definitely looking to go but if there was something to pop up then it would be something to look at," Jeggo told the Adelaide Advertiser.
"They (Sturm Graz) had taken interest in me and looked at doing something with me going forward."
Having left Melbourne Victory to join Adelaide in 2014, Jeggo won the Young Player of the Year award in his first season at Coopers Stadium last term, helping the South Australian club to win the inaugural FFA Cup and reach the A-League semi-finals.
"I've got another year in Adelaide, I'm happy here and I loved my time last year," he said.
"This year I want to go up another notch and this is a good place to do it.
"It was nice to have that interest and I was definitely interested but sometimes these things don't fall into place."

Eland replaces Murphy as Jets CEO
The game's governing body has recruited a local administrator to take over temporarily in a bid to strengthen the club's ties with local grass roots football
More changes have taken place behind the scenes at the Newcastle Jets, with David Eland appointed interim chief executive officer as a replacement for Mitchell Murphy.
Former Football Federation Victoria CEO Murphy took over at the Jets in February and has endured a period of considerable turmoil during his time at the club, including the departure of head coach Phil Stubbins and the ousting of owner Nathan Tinkler by Football Federation Australia, who took back control of the franchise from the mining magnate in May.
The governing body has now opted to bring in Eland, who will combine the role with his duties as CEO of Northern NSW Football.
“FFA is pleased to announce that the Northern NSW Football Board has agreed to allow David Eland to act as the Newcastle Jets interim CEO as the evolution of the Jets continues,” FFA CEO David Gallop said in a statement.
“David is well placed to fulfil the interim role with his knowledge of the local football landscape and previous experience in the Hyundai A-League and will ensure strong community ties are central to the long term framework of the Jets.
“David comes into the role at a time when the Football Department has planned its pre-season program, implemented some robust structures to improve the environment and is in the final stages of finalising the squad.
“FFA would like to thank Mitchell Murphy for his role in the initial stages of the transition from the previous owners to the FFA.”
Jets fans will get a first glimpse of the team in competitive action under new head coach Scott Miller when they host Perth Glory in the FFA Cup round of 32 on Wednesday.
