Thomas Muller is reportedly open to the idea of leavingBayern Munich for Manchester United before the transfer window closes in 12 days' time.
It is believed that the Premier League giants have tabled a club-record £59.8m bid for the German World Cup winner.
Publicly, Muller has rejected suggestions that he could move to Old Trafford this summer, but according to the Daily Star, the 25-year-old is keen on joining the English club, who are prepared to offer £250,000-a-week wages.
The report adds that Bayern are determined to keep the forward after they sanctioned Bastian Schweinsteiger's switch to United, meaning that Muller will have to lodge a transfer request in order to force through the move.
The forward is said to have become United's top target after they ended interest in Barcelona winger Pedro, who is now believed to be on the verge of joining Chelsea.
Muller's contract at the Allianz Arena does not expire until 2019.
