The game in 100 words (or less): The wheels have officially fallen off for Major League Soccer expansion side Orlando City SC. After occupying an Easter Conference playoff place as recently as a couple weeks ago, the Lions have now lost six of their last eight league games following a 5-0 loss to Toronto FC at BMO Field on Saturday. Orlando City’s first MLS season started with such promise, but looks to be in big trouble as they trail the Montreal Impact, who currently occupy the sixth and final playoff place in the East, only on tiebreaker, but have five fewer games remaining in the regular season. TFC, meanwhile, put to end their two-game losing skid and have jumped back up to fourth in the East. They still hold at least one game in hand on all but one team above them. Newsflash: After going goalless for two straight games (just the third time he has done so since coming to MLS) Sebastian Giovinco scored his 17th goal of the season, to go with 11 assists.

Three moments that mattered
36′ — Ramos sent off for a silly, but not malicious challenge — Did Rafael Ramos need to make this challenge on Justin Morrow? In that part of the field, certainly not. Did he do so with any kind of recklessness or maliciousness? Certainly not. In fact, the contact with Morrow’s foot/ankle isn’t even all that great. Very poor decision from referee Jose Carlos Rivero that completely changes a game.

46′ — Bradley sets up Delgado for the opening goal — Michael Bradley picks this ball up right on the halfway line and he doesn’t give it up until he’s a yard from the endline. When he does, he picks out Marco Delgado who hammers the ball low and past Tally Hall.

57′ — Giovinco scores from another free kick — Giovinco’s personal free-kick mixtape is pretty impressive at this point, isn’t it? You can’t convince me that he doesn’t intentionally hit his free kicks off the inside of the post and in, you know, just for an added challenge. Because aiming anywhere inside that giant goal would be too easy for him.

HONORABLE MENTION — Morrow caps off a sequence of more than 40 passes to make the score 3-0

Man of the match: Michael Bradley
Goalscorers: Delgado (46′), Giovinco (57′), Morrow (71′), Altidore (84′ – PK, 85′)
