Shea Salinas, Earthquakes beat 10-man Galaxy for 4th straight win

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Shea Salinas scored on a header in the first half and the San Jose Earthquakesbeat the 10-man Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 in theCalifornia Clasico on Friday night for their fourth straight victory.
David Bingham recorded his fourth clean sheet in a row.
Salinas got his third goal of the season in the 18th minute for San Jose (11-10-5).Quincy Amarikwa headed a cross that was blocked by goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts, but Salinas pounced on the rebound for an easy finish.
Los Angeles (13-8-7) had its four-game winning streak snapped.
Leonardo was given a red card in the 47th minute after taking down Amarikwa on a goal-scoring opportunity. Anibal Godoy's ensuing free kick from just outside the box sailed over the crossbar.
San Jose's Chris Wondolowski had a header hit off the post in the 38th. He collided with A.J. DeLaGarza on the play and left the game briefly.

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) — Diego Fagundez became the youngest player to score 25 career MLS goals and the New England Revolution beat the Philadelphia Union 1-0 on Saturday night for their third straight victory.
Fagundez, who is 20 years, 6 months, 15 days old, signed with the Revolution on Nov. 15, 2010, and is in his fifth MLS season.
The Revolution (10-9-7) scored in the 51st minute when Charlie Davies flicked a leading pass to Fagundez, who drove to the top of the area and cut it back inside the left post.
Referee Chris Penso showed Cristian Maidana a red card for violent conduct in the 94th minute.
The Union dropped to 7-13-6.
TORONTO FC 2, IMPACT 1
TORONTO (AP) — Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore scored and Toronto FC beat Montreal to match its franchise season record with 11 victories.
Toronto (11-10-4) also won 11 games last year when it went 11-15-8. It has nine games left — seven at home — as its pushes for a first playoff berth.
Bradley opened the scoring in the 35th minute with his fourth goal of the season. Altidore connected in the 55th, hammering in a rebound for his 10th goal afterJonathan Osorio hit the post. Altidore has three goals in the last two games, all coming off the bench.
Former Toronto striker Dominic Oduro scored for Montreal (8-11-4) in the 74th minute.
CREW 2, NEW YORK CITY FC 1
NEW YORK (AP) — Justin Meram scored in the 83rd minute and Columbus beat New York City FC to move into second place in the Eastern Conference.
The Crew (11-8-8) capitalized on a takeaway near midfield, leading to an opening for Meram up the left side. His shot rolled through a couple of defenders and bounced home off the inside of the far post.
Federico Higuain opened the scoring with a hard-bouncing header off Wil Trapp's corner in the 10th minute. Andrew Jacobson tied it for NYCFC (7-13-7) in the 20th minute with a long blast.
