Defending champs ES Sétif will face Al Merreikh in Khartoum on Sunday, in matchday four of the 2015 CAF Champions League in Group B.

The two sides, who are both on four points halfway through the competition, five points adrift of leaders USM Alger, played to a 1-1 draw in Algeria in the reverse fixture.

And with USMA looking set to secure one of the two qualifying spots for the semifinals, the encounter almost appears like a do-or-die for the two outfits.

After dropping five points on home ground, the ‘Black Eagle’ are left with no choice but to get something back on the road, which they are confident of achieving.

“We have three games remaining, so there are still nine points up for grabs,” Sétif striker Abdelmalek Ziaya toldcompetition.dz.

“We are going to work hard to get a positive result against Al Merreikh, which will allow us to get some confidence back.

“Our chances of qualifying and retaining our title remain intact. As I said, there are three more matches to play and we will do our best to fight back and reach the last four.”

However, Al Merreikh will be able to rely on a strong support from their home crowd, and will be determined to secure all three points before hitting the road again.

The match will kick off at Al Merreikh Stadium at 21h00 CAT on Sunday 9 August 2015.
