Liverpool FC Squad Salaries 2015
Liverpool had a brilliant 2013-14 season where they finished just 1 point behind Manchester City in second place, but with the departure of Luis Suarez in the summer lead to a whole lot of changes in the squad with many new players coming in which lead to terrible season where they finished outside for top 4 and missed out on 2015-16 champions league.
Liverpool Transfers 2015-16 – Liverpool has signed number of players in the 2015 summer transfer window and here are all the signings made so far.
- James Milner (Free transfer)
- Christian Benteke (£32m from Aston Villa)
- Danny Ings (£6 to £10m tribunal case)
- Joe Gomez (£3.5m from Charlton Athletic)
- Adam Bogdan (free transfer from Bolton)
- Roberto Firmino (£28m from Hoffenheim)
Apart from signing number of players Liverpool has also extended contracts of their star players including the likes of new captain Henderson, Danial Sturridge and Coutinho.
- Jordan Henderson signed a new 5 year deal which will keep him at Anfield till 2020 and he will earn £100,000 a week in wages.
- Sturridge signed a new 5 year contract in 2014 after his impressive performances last season and it will earn him around £120,000 a week basic salary and it can reach £150,000 a week if he meet his performance clauses in the contract.
- Coutinho signed a new 5 year deal in february 2015 and it will double his previous salary of £35,000 a week to £75,000 a week. His new contract will expire in 2020.
