Venezuela started the Copa America Centenario on a good note though they were seen as the least team in group C, now they face another hard task when they play Uruguay for their second group game on Friday 10th of June 2016.
Venezuela did well in their first match beating all the odds to win 1-0 against Jamaica, now they will be looking to build on this win to get a chance out of the group stages, Venezuela’s first game was above expectation as they took advantage of Rodolph Austin getting a Red card to win the game, they got 62.5% of ball possession in the game, also they were very aggressive upfront as they had a total of 14 shot attempts and 3 shots on target.
Venezuela now needs 2 points in the remaining two matches to go over to the next stage or a victory here against Uruguay or against Mexico to ensure a place in the next round.
On the other hand, Uruguay are coming off from a 3-1 defeat to Mexico and are now desperate to turn their game around, this is a must win game for Uruguay to keep them in the completion.

Uruguay allowed a total of 19 shot attempts in their first game, 7 of the shots were on target as they tried hard to come back into the game after they conceded the first goal steering the game towards a stalemate but they allowed 2 late goals in the second half.

Venezuela: Predicted Line-up (4-4-2)

Uruguay vs Venezuela: Head to Head stats
Uruguay are superior to Venezuela as they have won most of the games played between them, but their last 4 games have been a close one.
Their last 4 games have ended in 3 draws and a win 1-0 win for Uruguay showing Venezuela has had much improvement lately.
They have both played 14 games together which Uruguay have won 6, 5 went to draw while Venezuela won 3.
The last time they played in a Copa America was a 2 leg duel in 2007, the first leg ended in draw while Uruguay trashed Venezuela 4-1 in the second leg.
Uruguay vs Venezuela: Prediction
This is must win game for Uruguay and they will fight till 90th minute to see a win, but looking at Venezuela’s recent games against Uruguay, it won’t be an easy one for both team. With Venezuela eager to qualify, we might see another shocker in this game, the game may also end in draw with Venezuela’s defensive capabilities.
The game could go either way but there is a higher possibility of Uruguay coming out victorious. I expect a low turnout of goal and I’m predicting a score line of 1-0 in favour of Uruguay.
