Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Gary Medel, and Claudio Bravo lead the defending Copa America champions in their quest for a repeat this summer in the United States.

Juan Antonio Pizzi and Chile's 23-man squad for Copa America Centenario is set.
La Roja will be without the injured Felipe Gutierrez for this summer's competition in the United States, but other than that, the final roster features 23 of Chile's finest. Alexis Sanchez and company will be looking to defend their title from last summer's Copa America, hosted by Chile itself, this time with a new coach in Pizzi.

Time for Pizzi to prove himself

Pizzi seems to be transitioning La Roja to a 4-3-2-1 formational scheme, emphasizing a striker up top, from Jorge Sampaoli's 4-3-1-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 system. After his first few matches managing the team for CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers, we're yet to see how successful he, together with Chile, will be.

His squad will get to test their might prior to Copa America, with friendlies coming up versus Jamaica on May 27 and Mexico on June 1. Those matches, respectively, will take place in Viña del Mar, Chile and San Diego, United States.
