Lille’s loss against Lorient meant that the club have now gone 3 games without a win and they will want to end that run at home to Toulouse. Lille had plenty of possession against Lorient but damningly they had no shots on target.

Lille have lost 1 game at home but that was to high flying Monaco and it will be interesting to see if the home team can get back on track in front of their fans.

Toulouse gave a fantastic display to beat Guingamp 2-1 at the weekend. They came back from a goal down to get the win late on in the game and showed great Spirit. But Toulouse has yet to win away and simply have not been convincing on their travels.

Somehow Lille find themselves in 17th place one position above the relegation spot and they haven’t played that badly. This is a team that really likes to play in front of their home fans. Toulouse has played really good football but are lacking away from home. Expect a cautious low scoring match. The plan for Toulouse is to travel up to Lille on Monday after lunch and get two mini training sessions in. Lille was called into training on Sunday which is quite rare for them after a game on a Saturday. Both teams have no excuses not to be prepared.
