Barcelona’s excellent record was dented by a newly promoted club Nou Camp last weekend, they will be hoping to redeem their face this week as they travel to Estadio Municipal de Butarque to face Leganes.
Leganes were among the newly promoted clubs into the La Liga this season, so far their performance have been a mixed bag. They kicked off the season with a 0-1 away against Celta de Vigo, and later drew 0-0 against Atletico Madrid in the 2nd game. Last week, they lost to Sporting Gijon on the road as the game ended 2-1. The first half of the game ended 2-0 in favour of Sporting Gijon, with goals from Nacho Cases and D. Cop in the 17th and 43rd minutes, later on in the second half, Diego Rico pulled one back for Leganes.
Leganes are currently 13th in the table and will hope to emulate Alves last weekend performance against the Current Champions.

Meanwhile, Barcelona bounced back to life with a fierce 7-0 win against Celtic in their UCL game on Tuesday night. The Catalunya side were firing all cylinders as Messi, Neymar, Iniesta and Luis Suarez all got their names on the score sheet. Messi opened the score in the 3rd minute and later doubled the lead in 27th minute as the first handed that way. Neymar graced the score sheet in 50th minute and Iniesta followed suit after 9 minutes. Leo Messi grabbed his hat-trick in the hour mark, while L. Suarez’s brace in the 75th and 88th minutes completed the 7-0 riot. They now head into this game in full confidence, as they look forward to another win.

Leganes vs Barcelona: Prediction
Despite losing to Alves last week, Barcelona are the favourites in this fixture. They have been excellent until last weekend and they picked up a superb win in their Champions League game on Tuesday night. Barcelona defeated Sevilla in the super Cup, before beating Betis 6-2 in the opening day. Also they they defeated Athletic Bilbao 0-1 on the road before falling to Alves last week.
Barcelona will no doubt come out winners in the game, also i expect them to keep a clean sheet in the game.
