West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United will hope to relieve them self of early season pressure as they face each other at Hawthorn on Saturday.
West Brom fans are increasingly being discontented with Tony Pulis, their Last week defeat to Bournemouth made things worst. The fans at Bournemouth last weekend repeatedly chanted “Tony Pulis, your football is s***”. They are currently winless in their last 4 games in all competitions. The Baggies are now on 12 position in the league table with 4 points, they hope to win this one and keep the fans happy.
West Ham United are among the poor starters this season, having won just once in all competitions this season. Their last week home lost to Watford came as a surprise to fans and players. The Hammers threw away their 2-goal lead as they lost 4-2 to Watford. Antonio’s brace in the first half gave them the lead but Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney pulled them level before half time. E. Capoue and J. Holebas sealed the victory for the Hornets in the second half. The defeat made it a 3 game win-less streak for the Hammers in all competitions, as they have lost their last 3 games.
West Brom: Team News
Chris Brunt is the only injury concern for the home team, all other players are fit for the game.
West Ham: Team News
Andre Ayew, Aaron Cresswell, Andy Caroll and Diafra Sakho are on the Hammers injury list and won’t feature for this game.
West Brom vs West Ham: Head to Head Statistics
These two teams have come a long way, they have played 73 times in the past. West Brom have won 31 times, while West Ham have won 26 times. Their last 6 games have been shared equally, both teams have won 2 games each and drawn twice. Their last game here at Hawthorn was a 0-3 win for West Ham United.
West Brom vs West Ham: Prediction
Both teams are currently under early pressure this season, they have been on a poor performance with just one win in all competitions for both teams. The Baggies are without a win in 4 games, while Hammers are on a losing streak in 3 games.
The game could go either way considering their poor form, but I think West Ham’s quality will make the difference. West Brom haven’t scored more than one goal in the premier League since 2-2 draw against Leicester in March, i expect a low goal for them here too.
