With the Milan giants currently the target of Chinese investors, questions over the club’s supposed negotiations with Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol are only shrouded in further mystery

Negotiations between AC Milan and Bee Taechaubol had started in April 2015 and yet, with new Asian investors now keen to buy the club, questions are being asked about where the Thai businessman has gone.
The figure that was initially hypothesised, with regard to the offer last year, was of €1.2 billion but, two months later, another agreement was said to have been made with Rossoneri President Silvio Berlusconi; the Italian was to sell 48 percent of the club for €480 million.

However, with Berlusconi giving Mr Bee time to put together the funds and extensions on a supposed deadline increasing indefinitely, confidence in the Thai investor has gradually decreased. The Diavolo patron’s latest ultimatum to Mr Bee is set to be up at the end of the season.
The credibility of the agreement between the two is currently at its lowest point and Mr Bee’s ongoing failure to muster up the agreed upon sum is leaving Rossoneri supporters bemused over the whole situation.

Nonetheless, with this investment from Thailand looking increasingly unlikely, space has opened up for new suitors, perhaps in the form of theChinese businessmen vying to take the club off Berlusconi’s hands.
