Chelsea returned to winning ways yesterday, with Guus Hiddink’s side swatting aside Bournemouth with a 4-1 victory at the Vitality Stadium.
The Blues have little to play for in the remainder of the campaign, but they will still be seeking to conclude the season strongly ahead of the summer arrival of new manager Antonio Conte.

Chelsea are ‘seriously’ interested in Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Furthermore, it’s also claimed that the Blues will make a ‘major attack’ for the free-scoring no.10 in the summer. Mkhitaryan has scored 22 goals this season in all competitions. (Bild)
Chelsea scout Piet De Visser has disclosed that he encouraged the Blues to sign Moussa Dembele in the past, but others at the club weren’t keen on pursuing a move for the Belgian. Dembele has been hugely impressive for title challengers Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The Blues also passed up the opportunity to sign another Tottenham midfielder- Dele Alli. Eddie Newton, who was part of Chelsea’s youth development set-up, reportedly thought that Ruben Loftus-Cheek would develop into a better player. Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has said that he doesn’t want Tottenham to win the Premier League. Former Chelsea youngster Domingos Quina has confirmed that he has signed for West Ham United. The prospect, who was also linked with a switch to Arsenal, reportedly left the Blues after growing concerned about his long-term chances at Chelsea.
