Craig Dawson scored at both ends at White Hart Lane meaning Leicester can secure the title by beating Manchester United on Sunday
Leicester are just one win from the Premier League title after West Brom heldTottenham at White Hart Lane.
Claudio Ranieri's men are now seven points clear and a win at Old Trafford next Sunday will see them become champions.
Spurs peppered the West Brom goal early on but only took the lead when Craig Dawson bundled into his own net from Christian Eriksen's free-kick.
He made amends in the second-half though as he capitalised on Lloris' mistake to head home.
Spurs could now be without Dele Alli for the run-in after he appeared to punch Claudio Yacob while Eric Dier also limped off.
Here are five things we learned.
1. Alli shows his temperament
Dele Alli has a dark side
The Tottenham midfielder has been a revelation this season, but he’s got a nasty streak.
It was a moment of madness, the sort of flashpoint that makes him a worry in the Euros.
England boss Roy Hodgson better hope that he can tame him.
2. Baggies set their stall out
It’s rarely this much fun following West Brom
Craig Dawson got on the scoresheet but it’s hardly surprising that West Brom don’t score many on their travels given the way that Tony Pulis sets up his teams.
It was more six at the back, Jonny Evans at left back and often no-one was within 50 yards of lone striker Salomon Rondon.
3. Spurs won't give up
This was nervy, they should have won but they’ll keep going.
Time is running out but hope springs eternal for Tottenham because Leicester must still go to Manchester United next weekend.
This title isn’t over yet, especially as Tottenham have a better goal difference.
4. Lamela adds graft
Erik Lamela has brought graft to his game
He always looked skilful and had nice flair but this season he has added a different dimension to his game.
Lamela has embraced Mauricio Pochettino’s philosophy of hard work, tracking back and closing down.
The Argentinian now looks the complete player. There’s still some nice touches, good forward play and yet he’s no longer a luxury player.
5. Micky Hazard isn't Eden's dad
The former Tottenham midfielder told us this when he was introduced to the crowd at White Hart Lane during the half time break.
Hazard, of the 80s perm turned taxi driver, went onto say that this could be the best Tottenham team of all time.
High praise indeed. Hazard pointed to Tottenham’s movement, pace and togetherness in the dressing room. It’s hard to disagree
