Botswana eye first Cosafa Cup final

Botswana and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) are set to battle for a place in the 2016 COSAFA Castle Cup final on Wednesday.
The semifinal encounter will take place at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek and kick-off is at 7:30pm.
The Zebras of Botswana are oozing with some confidence after beating tournament hosts Namibia in the quarterfinal clash over the weekend.
Namibia's Brave Warriors, who were also the defending champions, lost 5-4 on penalties to Botswana following a 1-1 draw.
Botswana scored first thanks to Namibian defender Dacosta Angula's unfortunate own goal just five minutes into the second-half.
This will be the Zebras' second consecutive appearance in the COSAFA Cup semifinals. Last year they were beaten by Mozambique on this stage.
Oris Radipotsane, the Zebras assistant coach, will be in charge of the team in the absence of suspended head coach Peter Butler on Wednesday.
Kabelo Dambe is doubtful after sustaining an injury against Namibia and was replaced by fellow goalkeeper Mwampule Masule who shone for the team.
The Zebras have never reached the final of the regional tournament since it's inception in 1997.
Meanwhile, DR Congo will be out to diminish Botswana’s hopes when the two nations face each other on Wednesday evening.
The Leopards of Congo hard to overcome a stubborn Mozambique side in the quarterfinals over the weekend.
Nelson Munganga's first-half goal earned the Central African nation a hard-fought 1-0 victory against the Mambas of Mozambique.
The two-time African Nations Championship (Chan) winners DR Congo were added as a guest nation to the 2016 COSAFA Castle Cup competition.
The Leopards squad includes Bodrick Muselenge, who was once heavily linked with African giants Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
The commanding defender was instrumental for Florent Ibenge's side over the weekend against Mozambique's Mambas.
The winner between Botswana and DR Congo will take on either South Africa or Swaziland in the final on Saturday.
