La partitissima di San Siro vede favoriti i giallorossi, soprattutto al fantacalcio. Ecco perché...

Il ninja contro il giaguaro. Il piccolo principe contro il pitbull. Capitan Futuro contro Kondo o Brozovic. I tifosi giallorossi e quelli nerazzurri non avranno problemi a svelare il rebus degli scontri che potrebbero decidere una delle sfide più interessanti dell'undicesima giornata di campionato. Non è un mistero, invece, che le partite spesso si decidano proprio a centrocampo, reparto fondamentale per soffocare i rifornimenti alle punte avversarie e, contemporaneamente, per ispirare i propri attaccanti. L'Inter, privata del "comandante" Felipe Melo da un cartellino rosso di troppo, si dovrebbe affidare a un tris tutto muscoli e polmoni: Brozovic (o Kondogbia), Medel e Guarin. La Roma, invece, porterà alla Scala del calcio quello che, attualmente è il miglior centrocampista della stagione (Pjanic), assecondato dall'esperienza di De Rossi e dalla "garra" di Nainggolan. Un mix che, apparentemente, sembra privo di falle.

PRONOSTICO A SENSO UNICO — E quindi? Risultato già scritto? Tutt'altro. Analizzando i dati dei due reparti si vede come i nerazzurri facciano di pressing e aggressività un'arma essenziale per recuperare palla nella metà campo altrui e avere meno metri da coprire per raggiungere la porta avversaria. Sarà questa l'arma tattica che i ragazzi di Mancini potranno utilizzare, sfruttando gli eventuali eccessi di sicurezza che potrebbe offrire l'eccellente tecnica di base dei pari ruolo romanisti. Al contrario la linea mediana giallorossa dovrebbe approfittare del baricentro alto dei nerazzurri per verticalizzare con rapidità e sfruttare i guizzi dei suoi esterni offensivi.

LE SFIDE — Magic media pari a 8,72, media voto Gazzetta che rasenta il sette 7 (6.89), 5 gol realizzati e 3 passaggi vincenti, sfruttati dai compagni per andare in gol: l'inizio di stagione di Miralem Pjanic è stato semplicemente imbarazzante. Con un maestro d'orchestra del genere, la sinfonia di Garcia non può che essere un capolavoro. Lo spartito, in condizioni del genere, deve essere considerato un optional, tanto più se alle sue spalle si trova una sicurezza come Nainggolan (tre "6,5" e un "7" in pagella nelle ultime quattro gare). Di fronte a tali numeri sembra improponibile uno scontro ad armi pari con Kondogbia (7 insufficienze in 9 gare giocate) e Guarin che da quando veste la maglia nerazzurra non ha mai cominciato così male una stagione. Vedremo se Medel sarà in grado di limitare il talento di Pjanic al punto da riequilibrare la battaglia in mediana.

VARIAZIONI SUL TEMA — Le variabili impazzite potrebbero essere rappresentate da Florenzi e Brozovic. Il nerazzurro è in ballottaggio con Kondogbia e offrirebbe un'importante variante tattica a Mancini che, in questo modo, farebbe oscillare la sua Inter tra un 4-3-3 e un 4-2-3-1. L'azzurro, invece, sarà dirottato a centrocampo nel caso in cui la tenuta fisica di De Rossi non desse le necessarie certezze. Se ciò accadesse, l'indiziato numero uno per occupare il ruolo di laterale destro sarebbe il "colosso". Già un'altro soprannome. Quello che romanisti e nerazzurri hanno affidato a Maicon, reduce da un gol e un assist nel turno infrasettimanale di campionato. Più colosso di così...

Inter - Roma Preview: Garcia calls for attacking approach at San Siro

The Frenchman has called for the Giallorossi to set out on the front foot against their title rivals at the weekend

Roma coach Rudi Garcia has urged his Serie A leaders to take the game to Inter at San Siro on Saturday as they seek to extend their advantage at the summit.

Garcia's men made it five league wins in a row with a 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday - Miralem Pjanic and Maicon laying the foundations with goals inside 10 minutes before Gervinho added a third after the hour.

Roma are the league's leading scorers with 25 and have lost just once in Serie A this term, although Inter sit just two points behind in fourth.

Roberto Mancini's men got back to winning ways at Bologna in midweek and Garcia challenged his side to be ruthless at San Siro, with Napoli and Fiorentina - second and third respectively - in action on Sunday.

Asked about his side's attacking philosophy, the Frenchman said: "I think it's the right thing to do. Psychologically it's not easy to lift yourself after conceding a goal and that goes for us too.

"Generally our attitude is negative after we let one in. In Florence [a 2-1 win over Fiorentina] we'd planned to play on the counter after the first goal whereas [against Udinese] we decided to carry on attacking after the opener.

"That's important because it shows the team is capable of doing positive things in different ways according to the game.

"I like the fact that my players are capable of reading the game and the situation. Then I like the unity we show. When we score all the guys celebrate together, as a team."

While Roma have found goals easy to come by this term, Mancini's side have averaged just one a game in the opening 10 Serie A matches - prompting Tuesday's match-winner Mauro Icardi to call for better service if Inter are to maintain their lofty position.

Inter have conceded just twice in their last four outings and defender Juan Jesus urged his team-mates to ditch their recent slow starts.

"Roma are a great team, with fast players like Gervinho and Mohamed Salah," he added.

"We can't afford to make any mistakes and we have to be focused from the very first minute.

"The team proved it can stick in there [on Tuesday]. We played well and we need to pick up from our performance in the second half.

"We have to improve our approach to the start of games. We spoke about that in the changing rooms because we can't always wait for the something to happen before injecting some energy into the game."
