Côte d’Ivoire booked their place at the 2016 African Nations Championship after securing a 1-0 win over Ghana in Abidjan on Friday.
Defeated by the local Black Stars 2-1 in Kumasi in the first leg of their qualifying tie, the Elephants progress on the away goals rule.
AS Tanda striker Boua Koffi Davy scored the winner in the 35th minute, connecting with Cheick Moukoro’s cross to fire the ball to the back of the net and send the Elephants to the final tournament, which will take place in Rwanda between 16 January and 7 February 2016.
Congo and Cameroon will battle in Brazzaville for the last available spot on Saturday.
