West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham set for London transfer battle

Once again, the future of Michy Batshuayi has become the centre of attention in the European media, and this time around, it’s Corriere dello Sport who have a report on the subject.
Why Corriere? Because Juventus are apparently interested in the player’s profile, especially since they are bracing themselves for Real Madrid to buy back Alvaro Morata in the summer.
The Spaniard has a buy-back clause in his contract with Juventus, and with Real Madrid probably banned from registering players from next January onwards, Florentino Pérez might go on a spending spree this summer.
While money could be an issue, the biggest problem for Juventus is the Premier League, with three London clubs all also vying for the player’s services: West Ham, Tottenham and Arsenal.
West Ham have recently become the favourites for his signature, while Arsenal and Tottenham see him more as a backup striker for what they already have.
With Marseille reportedly demanding over €35m (£27.6m) for their star goalscorer, Juventus will need to work something out with the French club if they want to get something done.
Otherwise, this could become an all-out London club transfer battle this summer, and it could get messy.
Tom Coast.
