A goal right before halftime by Jean-Kevin Augustin gave PSG the win in this friendly match.

Inter Milan took on Paris Saint German in Qatar for a friendly today to prepare for the second half of the season. Mancini opted to field a very strong lineup, only opting to leave out his South American players since they had just returned from their holidays on Tuesday. This saw a revamped defense of Santon, D'Ambrosio, Ranocchia, and Montoya protecting Handanovic. The midfield was comprised of Kondogbia and Brozovic further back and Perisic, Ljajic, and Biabiany more forward to help out Jovetic.
PSG started stronger and Augustin flashed a shot just off target within the first minute of the match. Matuidi forced a save from Handanovic following a slick Ibrahimovic backheel, and the Swede got a shot on target as well as the French team pressured Inter. Inter did have some chances in the first half through Biabiany and Montoya but they were unable to capitalize on their opportunities. Towards the end of the half PSG midfielder Verratti began to exert more control over the match, first through a shot that hit the crossbar and then on the stroke of halftime he slipped a through ball to Augustin who was able to beat Handanovic and open the scoring.
The second half saw a number of chances on both sides. Augustin barely missed an Ibrahimovic cross straight across the face of goal, and Rabiot curled a shot just over the crossbar. In between those PSG efforts Trapp had to be alert to stop a Jovetic volley following a cross. Inter pressured for an equalizing goal until around midway through the second half when both sides began to make a number of substitutions in order to let their young players get a chance. From this point the intensity of the match wore down and there weren't anymore major plays until Medel forced a good save from the PSG backup keeper in the 80th minute.
Inter will return to Italy on January 2nd in order to prepare for their upcoming Serie A match against 8th placed Empoli.
