19-year-old Figueirense forward Clayton has been under the watchful eyes of agents and many top clubs in Brazil since the beginning of his career.
According to Brazilian journalist Paulo Vinícius Coelho [PVC], many clubs in the top division have talked with Figueirense and also with Clayton's representatives. The reports states that Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Internacional, Palmeiras and Santos have made contact with Clayton's agent. Spanish teams are also scouting him, and Atlético Madrid full-back Filip Luís has spoke highly of the player to the club board. Despite all this, Clayton is ready to move to Russia with two clubs already interested; CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow. Representatives of CSKA were present at the Estádio Orlando Scarpelli on Wednesday when Clayton scored two goals to lead his team to victory over Flamengo. PVC thinks that Moscow will most likely be the destination of the Figueirense striker, with Spartak favorites among the two Russian sides.
