The MMA Corner’s Hottie of the Week: Rachel Wray

MMA can be a ferocious and bloody sporting event, with fighters going head to head against one another in the ultimate form of combat sports. MMA tests the true mettle of its competitors in all phases of the fight game: striking, wrestling and submission grappling.

While the sport has evolved greatly from the barbarous early days, there is still a stigma out there that MMA is a sport for testosterone junkies. But while MMA is a sport built on combat, there is an underlying beauty to it and now there is a lot of beauty surrounding it.

Whether they are battling it out in the cage or carrying ring cards outside of it, MMA is filled with some of the most beautiful women in the world. Every week The MMA Corner will take a moment to feature the women who add beauty to this sometimes brutal sport.

The MMA Corner’s Hottie of the Week this week is amateur bantamweight grappler Rachel Wray.

A former cheerleader for the Kansas City Chiefs, Rachel is an absolute stunner. With blond hair, blue eyes, and striking features she is the definition of the word hottie.

But there more to her than just her good looks as Rachel is an extremely talented up-and-coming young fighter with a tremendous grappling base. A blue belt in BJJ, Rachel has taken home multiple gold medals in grappling tournaments and she is ready to kick her career into high gear.

After starting 2-0, Rachel has lost her last two amateur bouts, but she has not competed since July of 2014. Even though she know she has a lot to work on, the Arkansas native has the drive to succeed. With her looks and charm, Rachel could become on instant star in the sport.
