Carli Lloyd's goal in the 85th minute -- her 17th of the year -- earned the USA a 1-1 tie with 2016 Olympic host Brazil before 23,603 fans at Seattle's CenturyLink Field. The USA had trailed for the first time in its last 18 games on Monica's goal in the third minute.

Prior to the start of the game, retiring Olympic and World Cup champion Shannon Boxx was honored for her achievements with the women's national team. It was her final game, and she started it wearing the captain's armband.

The last time the USA trailed was going down 1-0 in the 43rd minute of a 2-1 comeback win against Norway on March 4 at the Algarve Cup. It remained unbeaten in its last 21 games (17 wins and four draws) since losing to France, 2-0, in its 2015 opener in Lorient. The draw also preserved the USA's home unbeaten streak, which now stands at 101 games. The Victory Tour continues Sunday when the USA and Brazil meet at the Orlando Citrus Bowl.

-- Defender Jaelene Hinkle earned her first career cap for the USA as a second-half sub.
