TEAM NEWS
Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri faces a late fitness test as he continues to struggle with a hamstring injury.
Phil Bardsley and Stephen Ireland are both doubts, while Geoff Cameron, Marc Muniesa, Shay Given, Peter Odemwingie and Peter Crouch are all still out.
Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak could again be absent because of an ankle injury, although Joe Ledley is now fully fit.
Bakary Sako and Dwight Gayle remain sidelined with hamstring injuries.
MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES
Simon Brotherton: "Stoke were really impressive in beating Manchester City 2-0 in their last home game and this one is a sell out, but Crystal Palace will likely prove to be stubborn opponents.
"They've won 10 away games in the league since Alan Pardew took over in January, a figure bettered only by Arsenal (12 victories) in that time.
"It'll probably be tight with goals at a premium. Stoke have kept clean sheets in seven of the last nine in the league, while Palace have only let in half a dozen goals on the road."

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY
Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "They [Palace] can soak up pressure, which they are very good at, and then they have pace and a real threat going the other way.
"There's no coincidence to their record. With the team and the weapons they have, it lends itself better to playing away.
"We're now ahead of where we thought we'd be. That's encouraging considering we didn't win any of the first six games."
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew on the Eagles' imminent takeover: "There was a very strong feeling that the guys [American businessmen Josh Harris and David Blitzer] would come on board.
"I needed to be part of that to understand what Steve Parish's vision for the football club was. If it wasn't that vision that he sold me, I probably would not be here, so Steve Parish deserves a lot of credit for where this football club is.
"The players and my team also deserve some credit to get us in the position where we have got this kind of backing."
LAWRO'S PREDICTION
Crystal Palace are strong up front and cause teams problems when they cannot match them physically.
But Stoke can do that. I think they will edge this one.
