Villarreal midfielder Tomas Pina has warned his team-mates they can take nothing for granted as they attempt to edge past Serie A title contenders Napoli into the Europa League's last 16.
The Spanish side will head for the Stadio San Paolo on Thursday evening holding a 1-0 first-leg lead after becoming the first side to beat the Italians in the competition this season.
However, Pina is well aware that Denis Suarez's 82nd-minute free-kick will only see them through to the next round if they are at their best in Naples.
He told the club's official website, www.villarrealcf.es: ``Villarreal is getting back to playing at the highest level in Europe. We are in the best times of the club.
``If we get through to the next round though, it will turn even more heads and show that Villarreal want to live great nights in Europe again.
``We are a difficult opponent, above all because we are so solid at the back. Recently it's difficult to unsettle us, but this is football and anything can happen. In a match of this calibre, if you don't go out at 100 per cent, they'll make you pay for it.
``We're fourth and they're fighting for the title in Italy. It's not a typical Round of 32 tie. It was drawn this way and it's the game we have to play. It is, without a doubt, a high-flying fixture.''
Villarreal, who are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, have scored in each of their last 11 away European fixtures and a continuation of that record would give them every chance of reaching the last 16.
However, last season's beaten semi-finalists Napoli, who emerged from the group stage with maximum points, are still smarting from their reverse in Spain last week and have not lost a home game in European competition in 16 attempts.
It will be their 100th game in the UEFA Cup and Europa League and despite the fact that they are without a win in three outings, they remain confident as they continue their domestic pursuit of leaders Juventus, who currently head them by a single point.
Coach Maurizio Sarri told the club's official website, www.sscnapoli.it: ``If the team continues to express itself with application and determination, it will collect positive results soon.''
