Chiefs Confirm New Contract Lengths

Kaizer Chiefs Have Handed Long-Term Contracts To At Least Four Players

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the contract lengths of four of their new players, while the others remain unknown at this stage.

The Amakhosi announced seven new players yesterday as they begin their preparations for the 2016/17 Absa Premiership season, as well as the promotion of one of their talented youngsters from their Multichoice Diski Challenge team.
Keagan Buchanan, Sibusiso Khumalo, Enocent Mkhabela, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Lewis Macha, Edmore Chirambadare, Mitchell Katsvairo and Emmanuel Letlotlo were all unveiled at a press conference this week, as well as a few new faces to Steve Komphela’s technical team.
In a press release sent out after the announcement, Chiefs confirmed that Buchanan, Mphahlele, Chiramadare and Katsvairo had all landed long-term three-year contracts, however, didn’t reveal the lengths of the contracts for the other four players.

Meanwhile, regarding future signings, Bobby Motaung said, “We always have an eye open for any player we feel can add value to the team and if we come across anyone that fits the description and is available, we shall certainly be interested in entertaining the possibilities.”
