Lokomotiv Stadium will host the clash between Lokomotiv and Spartak.
The most interesting game in the RFPL this weekend is certainly the Moscow derby between Lokomotiv and Spartak at Lokomotiv Stadium Saturday. We are looking at two sides who, despite being geographically close, are in completely different places at the moment. The hosts from Lokomotiv have played six games in a row without losing, and they are currently third in the league. Spartak on the other hand, have played four games in a row without winning, and the fans are slowly becoming more and more unhappy with head coach Dmitri Alenichev as well as the Red-White players.
To make things even worse for Spartak, they will have to do without the two central defenders Salvatore Bocchetti, who’s suspended, and then the injured Ilya Kutepov, which could make room for the inexperienced Aleksandr Putsko.
