TP Mazembe will look to pick up a second successive win at the start of their Group A campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup when they travel to Tanzania to take on Young Africans on Tuesday. Kick-off at the National Stadium in Dar Es Salaam is set for 15:00 CAT.

The DR Congo giants got off to a great start earlier this month when they overcame Ghana’s Medeama 3-1 in Lubumbashi, with Rainford Kalaba’s brace and a strike from Salif Coulibaly seeing the Ravens to a solid home victory.

Mazembe have had a roller-coaster ride leading into the match, with a good 3-1 win away to Motema Pembe in their domestic championship balanced out by the shock news that club president Moise Katumbi has been sentenced to three years in jail for illegally selling a property in Lubumbashi.

Hubert Velud’s side need to keep their focus amid the furore, with Young Africans set to be a difficult opponent on their own home ground.

The Tanzanians suffered a narrow 1-0 loss away to Algeria’s MO Bejaia in the opening matchday and will be determined to get back on track, with coach Hans van der Pluijm hopeful that his side will be inspired in their fortress in Dar Es Salaam.

"I think we've learned from our mistakes in the past, and we've overcome a lot of difficulties during the competition too, like injuries - we've been missing important players all through the competition," Young Africans assistant coach Juma Mwambusi told Tanzania Daily News.

Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe will take charge of the match at the National Stadium.
