Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have announced a pre-season schedule that will see them travel to Japanand China for friendly matches against local clubs.
The 2013-14 Liga champions will face J-League club Sagan Tosu at Best Amenity Stadium on August 1 before playing Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG three days later in Shanghai Stadium.
The visit to China is no doubt inspired by Chinese billionaire Wang Jianlin, who purchased a 20 percent share in the Spanish club earlier this year.
