Robin van Persie has stated he does not want to become a super-sub at United, with transfer speculation linking him with a move away from the Theatre of Dreams this summer

Robin van Persie has stated he does not want to become a super-sub at Manchester United, dropping a hint that he'd be interested in a move to Serie A giants Juventus.

This season's UEFA Champions League runners-up, Juve, have recently signed talented youngster Paulo Dybala, as well as havingÁlvaro Morata, Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tévez amongst their attacking options in the frontline. With that being said, if they were offered van Persie for a feasible sum of money; who has proven himself to be a world-class striker despite injury problems over the past few seasons, it'd be a surprise if they'd reject it.
The 31-year-old is eager not to be reduced to a bit-part role, which their loanee forward Radamel Falcao was frustrated with - having barely featured with cameo appearances as opposed to getting regular 90 minutes spells under his belt. van Persie's former team-mate at United, Patrice Evra, left the club for Turin at the start of the season, and started in their 3-1 final defeat against La Liga champions Barcelona in Berlin on Saturday evening. Although they did not manage to win the game, Juventus have established themselves as one of the best clubs in Europe again, and secured a league and cup double (Serie A title and Coppa Italia) this year, which is sure to attract big names with moves elsewhere.
van Persie had this to say, to the Sunday Mirror: "I still speak to my old mate Patrice. He has told me stories about how Juventus train, how hard they work and how they manage to be successful. They have a fantastic spirit - a totally different approach from English or Dutch players before games. They grab each other by the head, they shout at each other to pump each other up. And they also have big running sessions after games. Patrice has showed me there are many ways to be successful."
On his own future: "It is my ambition to play as many games as possible. I'm fitter than ever and I know the more games I play, the more it will help me prepare for the European Championships. You want to arrive at tournaments with match time, not as a bench sitter. I know that when you are at a club like Manchester United - it is like a beast. It is so big and strong it can do wonderful things for you, but it also has a negative side and that is what I have got to decide on this summer. United spent £200million pounds on players last year and they are going to spend another £200million this summer, so we will have a team that can compete for the title."

Fabio Borini's agent eyeing talks over striker's Liverpool future

Liverpool FC striker Fabio Borini's agent wants to talk to the club over the Italian's future, with the Reds having turned down a number of loan offers for the player.

Fabio Borini's agent Marco de Marchi has insisted that he wants to speak with Liverpool to clear the air on the striker's future at Anfield.

De Marchi also revealed that the Italian has had a number of loan moves blocked in recent months, despite rejecting permanent moves to Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers last summer, having been told he was surplus to requirements at Liverpool.
Brendan Rodgers' side came up short throughout a troubling season, with the 24-year-old scoring one goal in 12 Premier League appearances throughout the 2014-15 campaign, only five of which were starts.
"Soon we will have to talk to Liverpool," said Borini's agent. "Several teams have asked for Fabio on loan but the Liverpool board have always refused, especially in light of the £10m bid that was rejected last year from Sunderland."
Borini was the Northern Irishman manager's first addition back in 2012, as Rodgers paid £10 million to bring in Borini from AS Roma.
But the Italian has failed to live up to his potential since arriving on Merseyside, after an injury-hit first season restricted him to only a handful of appearances.
His second year in the Premier League was spent on loan at Sunderland, where he scored seven goals to help the Wearside clubstave off relegation as well as scoring in their League Cup final loss to Manchester City.
Despite a successful stint at the Stadium of Light, Borini rejected the opportunity to move to Sunderland permanently after the Reds accepted a £14 million bid.
Borini later turned down the opportunity to play for QPR the same summer, insisting he wanted to stay and prove himself at Liverpool despite limited first-team opportunities.
Having struggled to make an impact last season, with just 18 appearances in all competitions, his future on Merseyside is looking even more uncertain with Divock Origi and Danny Ings joining up with the squad later this summer.
Liverpool are now eager to cut their ties with Borini, insisting that they have no interest to allow him to go out on another loan spell as they look to rebuild their squad to challenge for a top-four next year.

Lazio are believed to be one of the sides interested in bringing Borini back to Serie A - who were said to be monitoring the striker a few years ago.
