Reja: Klose can replace Milik

Former Napoli boss Edy Reja believes Miroslav Klose has what it takes to replace the injured Arkadiusz Milik as the veteran “can still do important things”.
Klose has been touted as a short-term fix in the wake of Milik’s serious knee injury, which could keep him out for as long as six months, and Reja – an ex-Napoli and Lazio Coach – feels the unattached 38-year-old’s experience can go some way towards filling the void left by the Pole.
“Klose to Napoli? I think that Miroslav can still do important things. Despite his age, he can still give a lot in Serie A,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“At certain times and in certain games, Klose can be decisive. He has so much experience that he can put at the team’s disposal.
“A lot of it depends on his physical condition. If in recent weeks he has trained, he’ll immediately make a contribution.
“In our League, someone like him can always make a difference for their quality and experience.”
