MALMO, Sweden (AP) — Sweden and Slovenia played to a 0-0 draw in a friendly match Monday, two weeks ahead of the European Championship.
After a slow first half, Sweden picked up the pace in the second half but was unable to score against Slovenia goalkeeper Vid Belec.
Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed the match due to a calf injury. His replacement in the attack, John Guidetti, had Sweden's best chance with header that went just wide in the second half.
After another friendly against Wales on Sunday, the Swedes open their Euro 2016campaign against Ireland on June 13. Sweden also faces Belgium and Italy in Group E, one of the tournament's toughest.
Slovenia didn't qualify for the Euros.

Man United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic stars in new advert as Sweden draw 0-0 against Slovenia

The Swede continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford but has taken some time out to feature in the advertisement

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has starred in a new advert for Volvo, posting the clip to his Facebook page as Sweden played out a 0-0 draw against Slovenia as part of their preparations for Euro 2016.
The crux of the clip is that the Swede has done things differently to convention over his career, with Volvo cars apparently following suit.
Ibrahimovic has left PSG following the end of the Ligue 1 season, with his contract at the Parc des Princes having expired. and talk of a move to Manchester United hotting up.
He has made no secret of his desire for one last big move, with United apparently in the driving seat to acquire his services.
The striker, who has won league titles in Holland, Italy, Spain and France during his career, also reportedly has a big-money offer from China.

United legend Roy Keane is the latest name to throw his weight behind a potential move to Old Trafford.
“I think he would be a good signing on a one-year deal,” Keane said on ITV. He is a big player, a big character.
"I have said that United have been lacking a few characters and he would be a good fit there.”
Peter Schmeichel has agreed with his former skipper, saying Zlatan was 'born' to pull on the United kit.
"This guy finds whatever the crowd needs," Schmeichel said. "This guy was born to play for Manchester United."
