Gambian champions Real de Banjul have it all to do when they face African champions ES Sétif in the return leg of their CAF Champions League round of 32 tie on Friday evening.

Real surrendered a one goal lead as Sétif came from behind to secure a 1-1 away draw in the first leg played in Banjul, with Mohamed Bouchar cancelling out Ablie Jallow’s opener.
Indeed, a goalless draw at the Stade 8 Mai 1945 would see the Algerians go through to the next round on away goals but the City Boys are not in it for a draw as Team Manager Ebrima Camara earlier said, “we are here to win as the players are in good shape and ready for the match.”
However, Sétif coach Kheïreddine Madoui vowed they will not underestimate their opponents and warned that they will have to work hard to qualify.
“It is going to be very difficult against Real de Banjul as we haven’t sealed our qualification yet,” the African champions’ boss told Le Buteur.
“They [Real de Banjul] will be looking to progress too. We mustn’t think we already made it to the next round or underestimate our opponents.”
The Gambian champions arrived in Algeria on Sunday, with Head Coach Alhaji Amat Cham very pleased with their preparation.
“The players had fun and enjoyed what they were doing [in the trainings]. They really know what is at stake for them and are working hard to achieve it,” he told www.realdebanjul.gm.
The weather in Sétif is cold with temperatures as low as 10° compared to The Gambia’s 30-40° but the coach says his team is unfazed by that.
“It’s true that it is very cold here and given that, we knew that would be the case, we prepared adequately. We brought a lot of warm costumes for them as well and that’s why we decided to come early to acclimatize and get use to it.”
The team has no injury worries headed into the match as all the 19 players are fit and available for the game.
The match will kick off at 18:00 local time (5pm GMT) and it will be live on Algerian channel, TV A3.
