Radamel Falcao made his Chelsea debut as his side defeated Paris St-Germain in a penalty shootout in the USA.
It finished 1-1 before Jose Mourinho's side won 6-5 on spot-kicks, with Falcao converting before Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois scored the winner.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic had put the French champions ahead when he converted a rebound from 12 yards after Jean-Kevin Augustin's shot had hit the post.
Victor Moses made it 1-1 as he volleyed in from Cesc Fabregas's chipped pass.
Falcao came on as a 69th-minute substitute for Diego Costa.
It was Colombia international Falcao's first appearance since moving to the Blues from Monaco on loan after an unsuccessful spell at Manchester United in 2014-15, when he only scored four goals in 29 games.
He converted the first Chelsea spot-kick, but team-mate Juan Cuadrado then missed. However, Courtois saved penalties from Jean-Christophe Bahebeck and Thiago Silva before firing his own attempt into the top corner.
PSG, linked with a £46.5m deal for Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria, created more chances in Charlotte, North Carolina, and were unlucky not to win the match in 90 minutes before the shootout.
The Premier League champions went behind when John Mikel Obi lost possession and Ibrahimovic calmly finished after Augustin's effort had bounced off the post.
Costa had a shot tipped on to the woodwork before PSG's Lucas Moura was twice denied by first-half goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
But Chelsea equalised in the second half with Moses, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Liverpool and Stoke, calmly finishing from Fabregas's through ball to take the match to penalties.
The Blues play European champions Barcelona in their final International Champions Cup match in Washington on 29 July (01:10 BST) before the Community Shield tie against Arsenal at Wembley on 2 August.
