The Cape Town born attacker has previously featured for prominent Kiwi clubs Auckland City FC – with whom he scored for at the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup – as well as Waitakere United.
Naturally, all of the club’s A-League 2015/16 contracted players are set to venture on the six-day anti-clockwise loop of Northern NSW.
“I am glad that we have been able to reward Michael [Kantarovski], Reece [Papas], Braedyn [Crowley] and Andrew [Pawiak] with a place on the tour,” Miller said.
“There were certainly other youth team players in the mix to travel with us, however these boys have been selected because of their application and attitudes, and because we view them as potential A-League prospects.”
“The trip ought to provide them with the opportunity to learn from the senior players and staff, and hopefully grow and improve as footballers and people.”
“It also gives us the opportunity to take a close look at them in more than just the training environment, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and then consider how we can help them progress beyond the youth team in the future,” he concluded.
Newcastle Jets will train at Zone Fields in Taree from approximately 10:30am on Monday, before making two player appearances in the town in the afternoon. From 3:00pm to 4:00pm Jets players will be at the Greater Building Society on Manning Street, while from 3:30pm to 4:30pm squad members will be at McDonalds on Manning River Drive.
Jets players will also be the Greater Building Society on Horton Street in Port Macquarie between 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Monday.

Griffiths joins Dutch club Roda JC
The 27-year-old inked a two-year deal with the Dutch side.
After a strong season with Glory, Griffiths was given a release from the club in the hope of resuming his career abroad.
While it was expected he would return to Asia where he had played in China previously, Roda JC came calling and the tough-tackling midfielder had no hesitation putting pen to paper.
He joins Socceroos defender Trent Sainsbury as Aussies playing in the Eredivisie.
Roda also has a strong tradition of Australian players with Sydney FC boss Graham Arnold, former Socceroos goal-keeper Zeljko Kalac and Gary van Egmond all having spent time at the club.
Gombau to leave Adelaide United, Amor takes over
The Reds and their supporters must say goodbye to the Catalan cult figure, who has been released for personal reasons, with a Barcelona great his replacement
Adelaide United have confirmed head coach Josep Gombau has been allowed to leave the club on compassionate grounds, with Guillermo Amor set to take over.
The South Australian club staged a press conference on Friday to announce the Spaniard will be allowed to leave despite having two years remaining on his existing contract.
"The reason we're here is to explain this decision was the hardest decision I've made in my career," Gombau said.
"The decision is because of family and finding a balance between my work and family life."
Adelaide chairman Greg Griffin praised Gombau's contribution to the team's style of play and backed new boss Amor, a former Barcelona player, to continue that good work.
"Josep has transformed our style and our club and he has revolutionised our football club," Griffin said.
"It is with great pleasure that we announce Guillermo Amor to be the new head coach of our club as of August 1.
"This is to be a seamless transition and considering the circumstances it's moved very smoothly."
As for the new man in the hot seat, Amor said: "For me it's a great opportunity and I promise you will get commitment, hard work, and I'll give 100 percent."
"I could not wish for a better team to coach. It's difficult to find a better group of people."
Gombau, 39, had been linked with a move to Major League Soccer newcomers New York City FC, the home of Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo and David Villa.
The Spaniard is understood to have close links from his Barcelona days with senior administrators in the City Football Group (CFG), owners of Manchester City, Melbourne City and NYCFC.
He has previously been in the running for a position at J-League side Yokohama F Marinos, a team CFG do not control but have a stake in.
It remains to be seen though if there is any truth in those reports.
"I'm very honest, the reason was for family. We're far from home and I will take a break from professional coaching," he said.
The loss of Gombau is a major blow to the Reds, who have reached the A-League finals twice under his tenure, advancing to the semi-finals last season and winning the inaugural FFA Cup, while playing attractive, possession-based football.
His successor, 47-year-old Amor, made over 300 league appearances for Barcelona and joined Adelaide, initially as technical director, last year.
The Reds lost 2-0 to Premier League club Liverpool in an exhibition game at a packed Adelaide Oval on Monday night. They begin their defence of the FFA Cup away to Darwin Olympic on August 5.
