Troisi leaves Juventus for Al-Ittihad
Australian international attacking midfielder James Troisi has joined Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

Troisi, who is in the books of reigning Serie A champions Juventus, confirmed his move via his Twitter account.
"Excited to official join @ittihad. Looking forward to getting into Jeddah and meeting all the fans," Troisi tweeted.
The 27-year-old has been left out of Australia’s squad for the two upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers in order to facilitate his move to the Saudi side..
While on loan at Belgian side Zulte-Waregem in 2014/15, Troisi impressed scoring five times in 21 matches.
He is likely to team up with former AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari, who is also playing for Al-Ittihad.
Ittihad FC
Al-Ittihad Club (Arabic: نادي الاتحاد), also known as Al-Ittihad, is a Saudi Premier League football club based in Jeddah. Al-Ittihad has won eight League titles and also holds 48 official championship wins, three of them being asian championship.
The club was founded in the 4th of January 1927 before the third Saudi state was declared. And it is the oldest club in Saudi Arabia. They are known as (The People's Club). They believe that they are a different team from the rest of the clubs because of its nobility and history plus the date of finding. From this point starts the persecuting against the team. The most successful period in Al-Ittihad's history was the 1990s and mid 2000s, when the club won numerous honours both domestically and in Asia. The team won consecutive Champions League titles in 1998 and 2004 and 2005. Going on to compete in the 2005 FIFA Club World Cup. The club has the distinction of being the only Asian club to have won the AFC Champions League twice in a row.
Al-Ittihad has a record in home average attendance for Middle East clubs in domestic league matches with the average of 42,371 on 2014/2015 season. And that is for the club big popularity which is the first in Saudi Arabia.
The club's most famous Saudi players Are Saeed Ghorab, Hamzah Idris, Ahmad Jamil, Al Hasan Al-Yami, Mohammed Noor. And most famous Foreign players, the famous Brazilian international player Bebeto who played for Al-Ittihad from 2001 to 2002 And The Brazilian Attacking Midfielder Tcheco who played for Al-Ittihad from 2003 to 2005 and came back on 2008 for one season.
Nowadays Al Ittihad club is featured in video games like FIFA (12,13,14,15) and PES (14,15) series as one of the best clubs in Asia.
In May 2015, Al-Ittihad entered The Guinness Book Of Records, as the first and only Saudi Arabian and Asian club entering it, and that because the club had won 232 local and regional championships in different games in Mansour Al-Balawi's reign as a chairman of the club from 2002 to 2008, and for back-to-back win of the AFC Champions League in 2004 and 2005, as the only asian team accomplish it.
Al-Ittihad also known by his fanbase, as the largest fanbase in Saudi Arabia.
