Bayern Munich expect Javi Martinez to miss four weeks after knee surgery

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Javi Martinez is set to be out for around four weeks after undergoing surgery on his left knee.

Martinez had announced on his Twitter account that the injury, which affected the same knee in which he suffered an ACL tear in 2014, was "not serious."

However, he is set to be sidelined for the rest of the month and is due to miss games including the Champions League round-of-16 first leg away to Juventus on Feb. 23 as well as the Bundesliga match away to Wolfsburg on...
