The Austrian forward scored twice in five second half minutes to down bottom-feeders Aston Villa at the Britannia Stadium
Aston Villa fans vented their anger on Randy Lerner after losing again at Stoke.
Villa were competitive for the first 50 minutes before conceding two goals in five minutes to finish them off.
Ashley Westwood fouled Phil Bardsley to give away a penalty, which Marko Arnautovic slotted home.
The second pushed the Villa fans over the edge and Joleon Lescott and Mark Bunn failed to challenge Arnautovic as he headed Xherdan Shaqiri's cross in the air before chesting it home on the line.
The away supporters chanted "Randy Lerner out" before Leandro Bacuna pulled one back on 79 minutes for the Premier League's whipping boys.
1. Villa fans blame Randy Lerner
The Villa fans sang "Randy Lerner out!" after conceding their second comical goal and they feel the club's American owner has not spent enough to improve their squad.
2. Villa fans have not forgotten Lescott's car tweet
The away supporters could not resist teasing their skipper over his tweet of a £120,000 Mercedes sports car after their 6-0 mauling by Liverpool last time out, chanting "Joleon Lescott, he's got a new car".
3. Giannelli Imbula looks a class act
Imbula has quickly settled at Stoke since his £18.3million record move. He has adjusted to the pace of the Premier League and looks really comfortable in possession.
4. Stoke need Bojan back on form
The off-colour Bojan again started on the bench and Stoke's play was laboured without his creative spark up front.
5. Marko Arnautovic has a strong hand in his contract talks
Arnautovic has rejected Stoke's offer and the Potters may have to accept his demand to become the club's best-paid player after his double took his tally for the season to 10.
