Shillong Lajong beat Sporting Clube de Goa 1-0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Meghalaya on Sunday. Uilliams Bomfin (59') scored the only goal of the game to give the hosts all three points.

Uilliams was involved again in the 69th minute as his dangerous cross nearly saw Loveday score into his own net while attempting a clearance.
Six minutes later, Penn Orji came close with a free-kick but his crisp effort went over the target. Uilliams' free-kick soon after suffered a similar fate as it fizzed just wide.
The away team were unable to muster any goal-scoring opportunities despite chasing the game and were defeated 1-0 at the final whistle.
